The Rockstar Taste Of Chaos tour is a European and American (it's now been replaced by Uproar Festival) touring show. This year it's featuring four bands, Hailstorm, Buckcherry, Papa Roach and headlines by Disturbed who (as far as I'm aware) haven't toured in the UK for while. Anyone who knows my will know that of Papa Roach are that I'll most likely be there and of course I went last night.
Unfortunately, we missed out on Hailstorm. It's a shame as I quite like what I've heard of then and was looking forward to more but life goes on...
We arrived near the start of Buckcherry's set. Sex, drugs and ...? Yup! Rock n roll. Those three things are what Buckcherry are all about. Every song is about women, drugs or both as far as I could make out. I enjoyed these guys. The vocals seemed a little drowned out by the band but the guy has a pretty cool voice none the less. A good, solid display of rock n roll.
Papa Roach next (my favourite band!). This is the sixth time I've seen Papa Roach and what I've learned is that Papa Roach never disappoint. They have completely nail live performances. The energy from the band and most notably the lead singer Jacoby is incredible. I was in the audience with a massive smile of my face throughout. A lot was the same as their show at Sonisphere but I'm not complaining. There was the addition of 4 of the 5 new tracks along with the classics you'd expect ( Scars, Lifeline, To Be Loved, Last Resort, Between Angles and Insects) and the ones I recorded (Getting Away With Murder & Forever). Of the new tracks Burn was my favourite. Forever had a cool new intro which you can hear on the video. I had a good time and as did everyone else. Papa Roach have got many, many years of brilliance to come and I'll be there all the way.
During the set I managed to catch a Nike trainer. It was a tremendous catch! And luckily for the owner I he saw me holding it in the air and got it back. My good deed of the day done with skills.
The headline act, Disturbed, are a band I've always liked and have wanted to see live. What I always liked about Disturbed is the catchy, head banging tunes and the lead's weird voice. Disturbed were great. All round the set was great from the sound and the visuals of which the best demonstration of this is Liberate. I love how the lead switches from sings to his creepy voice mid sentence. He did manage to call us "Manchester" twice before realising he was in Nottingham. He apologised for this and we forgave him. It was funny. I also managed to get videos of Stupify, 10,000 Fists and Sickness. It was a great set to finish the night on.
I was a little disappointed with the turn out. There were far less people than there was at Pendulum the other week. Personally I think Papa Roach should be filling an arena like that on their but honestly they never got big enough. Disturbed at pretty big so the combination of the two should have sold out.

Saturday is when Sonisphere really kicked off. The main stage was being used and the first band to grace it was... Family Force 5. I was not really looking forward to them. To me they are too much of a pop rock band (like Elliot Minor) and don't do anything for me. Saying that I was surprised that they weren't bad live. They have some catchy-ish tunes but I won't been making an effort to see them again. On another note my mate Ian and sister liked them so it really shows that every band at a festival won't please everyone, it's always the case.
Next up was Sabaton... I really don't remember these.
Back on the Apollo stage it was Lacuna Coil. Lacuna Coil are one of a limit number of rock bands that have a female lead. Having listened to them a few times before I fancied hearing them live. They were pretty good but suffered from the vocals being to quiet which was a shame since the vocals are something that make them stand out from most other rocks bands.
Following Lacuna was Soulfly. I had heard they are good live, as had Ian. Unfortunately, we'd both been given wrong information along the way. Completely uninterested we went back to came for gammon, eggs and pineapple, nom nom nom.
After refueling it was time to go see one of my favourite bands of all time, PAPA ROACH! I absolutely love P-Ro! In 2009 I saw them live three times and can honestly say they got better every time. I left my sister, Ruth and Ian behind so I could get in the crowd. Papa Roach come on stage and rocked. Frontman, Jacoby Shaddix, got the crowd in the palm of his hand, clenched his fist and didn't let go. For me describing this set is hard as it was just so awesome. I was so happy I even hugged my sister afterwards!!! Papa Roach were definitely my highlight of Sonisphere 2010. I managed to get two videos of my two favourites, Lifeline & Scars.
Next up was Good Charlotte but before them we headed to the guest area for a bit where we managed to bump into my auntie and uncle, who was kind enough to provide the tickets for all four of us.
Good Charlotte were next up. The crowd for them was some what smaller than it had been just a short while ago for Papa Roach. I had always been in the mind that Papa Roach should have had Good Charlotte's spot and this showed. However, Good Charlotte did put on a great show. They played all the songs I remember loving in high school (that's going back about 7 year now!) such as Life Style of Rich and Famous, I Just Wanna Live, Girls and Boys. Good Charlotte did a solid performance and just good old fashioned good fun.
Straight after Good Charlotte was Corey Taylor in the Bohemia tent. Bohemia was absolutely rammed. Since first seeing Corey Taylor perform in Stone Sour at Download in the summer I've been hooked. Such talented man with a fantastic video. His show was an acoustic set where he performed several covers and some of his own. It was a great set.
The last band I saw on the Saturday was Rammstein. Sonisphere was their first ever festival in the UK. I had been to their arena tour earlier in the year and that was one of the most mind blowing shows I've seen. Loud, explosive and all round awesome! Their Sonisphere show was exactly that.

I'm going to be posting a full review shortly but just don't have time to finish it now. Hopefully tomorrow but if no I'll get it done this weekend.
I also want to some post pictures however I didn't take a camera so I'm waiting on my friends to upload them to Facebook before I can post any. Come on guys! Well I can't push them really as I've not uploaded my video yet. It will be entitled "Kane the Rubbish Drummer" and that's all I'm going to give away for now. It's definately work watching!
Look out for the update in the next few days!
